Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer (North) to cover various customer locations throughout the South Coast.
Job Purpose:
The role involves delivering maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses, working on equipment such as Recip, Scroll, Screw compressors, including Ammonia, Co2 & HFC/HFO installations. The engineer will carry out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal hours and support out-of-hours work via a standby rota.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively perform engineering tasks including maintenance and service visits on various refrigeration equipment.
* Handle service and reactive breakdowns during working hours and support out-of-hours standby duties.
* Meet customer and business support requirements, ensuring quality and compliance.
* Follow industry best practices and legislative guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration sector and customer expectations.
* Relevant technical certifications such as 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.
* Completed recognized training or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
* Experience with maintenance on medium to large industrial applications and fault diagnosis on large central plants and compressors like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom.
