With assets of £800m and annual turnover of £150m in their latest financial year, Mutual Energy manages strategic assets including the Moyle Interconnector, the Scotland-Northern Ireland Gas Pipeline, the Belfast Gas Transmission Pipeline and the West Transmission Pipeline. The organisation is headquartered in Belfast and operates at the intersection of infrastructure, public interest and regulation. Mutual Energy is now seeking to appoint an outstanding new Non-Executive Director to its Board. The successful candidate will support the Board Chair and Executive Team in shaping long-term strategy, advising on infrastructure finance, and upholding high standards of governance. This is a pivotal time for the energy sector, and this role offers a unique opportunity to influence one of Northern Irelands most critical infrastructure providers. The successful candidate will be a senior professional with direct experience in long-term, capital-intensive infrastructure businesses, and a strong commercial understanding of structured financing and capital markets. This experience could come from executive finance roles (such as CFO or treasurer), or from backgrounds in investment, advisory or regulatory positions.
