Job Description:
We're on the lookout for a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer to join a fast-paced, client-focused IT Solutions & Managed Service Provider (MSP). You'll be the go-to person for technical issues, working across various environments to keep systems running smoothly and clients satisfied.
In this role, you'll support a broad range of SME customers, providing remote and occasional on-site support across desktop, server, networking, and cloud platforms. Daily tasks include troubleshooting complex issues, assisting with project rollouts, and system upgrades.
You should have a solid foundation in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Azure, M), networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls), and experience in a customer-facing role emphasizing communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle escalations and 2nd line support tickets via the service desk
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, Office, Azure, networks, and cloud platforms
* Assist with project work such as migrations, deployments, and upgrades
* Maintain detailed documentation and meet SLA targets
* Provide excellent service with a proactive, consultative approach
Requirements:
* Previous MSP experience is essential
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, multi-client environment
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
