Full-Time Qualified Level 2/3 BSL Learning Support Assistant - Wokingham

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wokingham to recruit a dedicated Level 2/3 BSL Qualified Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time position starting on 17th October, supporting deaf children within the classroom and across the school.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support for deaf pupils to ensure equal access to the curriculum
* Use British Sign Language (BSL) to aid communication and understanding
* Work alongside class teachers and the SEN team to create an inclusive learning environment
* Support pupils' social and emotional development as well as academic progress
What we're looking for
* A qualified Level 2/3 BSL Learning Support Assistant (essential)
* Previous experience supporting children with hearing impairments is desirable
* Someone who is patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education
* A team player who can also work independently when needed
