Musselburgh Grammar School is a vibrant and ambitious secondary school serving Musselburgh and Whitecraig. The community is strong, lively, and loyal, with the school located at its heart. Our Modern Languages Faculty is undergoing exciting changes and improvements. We seek a dynamic, inspiring, and committed teacher of Modern Languages, capable of teaching Spanish across all levels. Job Details
* Teaching relevant subject through S1-S6.
* Performing tasks as directed by the Head Teacher, including:
o Teaching classes with preparation and correction
o Developing the curriculum
o Assessing and reporting on pupils' work
o Preparing pupils for exams and assisting with administration
o Providing advice and guidance to pupils
o Promoting health, welfare, and safety
o Collaborating with parents and professionals
o Engaging in professional development
o Participating in school planning and achievement initiatives
o Contributing to school order and needs

Job Requirements
* Registered with GTCS as a relevant subject teacher.
* Full registration for permanent posts; full or provisional registration for temporary posts.
* This role is regulated under the PVG scheme. Candidates must become or update PVG Scheme members before employment.
* If living or working outside the UK for over 3 months in the last 5 years, an overseas criminal record check is required.
