You will be providing all aspects of personal care from 8am to 8pm on Tuesdays for a young person with multiple disabilities and a delightful personality.
This placement is in a family home in a beautiful rural setting, with some outings.
You will need to be:
* understanding of social care, especially of people with complex learning disabilities
* patient, resourceful, reliable and a good communicator
* physically fit and healthy
* a non-smoker
* a car driver
You will ideally have:
* a fun personality, good sense of humour and a relaxed yet organised attitude.
* some knowledge of Makaton sign language
You will need to provide:
* Two references and an enhanced DBS check at no expense to the job seeker.
