Role Description
We are looking for a full stack developer who can start a handover process in March 2026, with a view to fully taking over development from April 2026 onwards.
The role will be fractional to start with and could lead to a full time position after a bedding in period. We are anticipating a minimum of ten days a month at the beginning of the contract and this is likely to grow.
It is vital that applicants have complete written and spoken fluency in English and ideally are UK based. We will consider candidates from within a two hour timezone but they must be fully contactable and working during UK hours - for us that is typically 830am to 530pm. Some work outside of hours will be required when pushing updates to the platform as you would expect.

Qualifications:
Core technical skills
* TypeScript, Node.js (NestJS) backend development
* React / Next.js frontend development
* Tailwind
* PHP experience for the admin panel (Bootstrap, WordPress, WPEngine)
* Python for AI engine development (ChromaDB, OpenAI integrations)
* Experience designing and working with REST APIs
* Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure, Terraform, Docker, Docker Compose
* Database design and management (MySQL)
* Payment integrations (Stripe)
* Kubernetes (bonus, future-proofing)
Infrastructure, DevOps & secret management
* GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
* Infisical (or equivalent) for secret management
* Monitoring and debugging production systems
* Deployment and maintenance of cloud-hosted applications (GCP VMs, GCP Cloud Run)
Architecture and system design
* Ability to understand and maintain an existing production system
* Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems
* Full-stack experience and ability to work across frontend, backend, and AI components
