Primary schools in Ormskirk are seeking enthusiastic Sports Specialist Teaching Assistants who can bring energy, structure, and positivity to their classrooms. This flexible role provides an excellent opportunity to support pupils through both academic and physical development.
This position involves much more than delivering sports sessions. You will take on general Teaching Assistant duties, such as supporting the class teacher, working with groups of children, supervising learning activities, and promoting positive behaviour. Alongside this, you will lead enjoyable, curriculum-aligned sports and movement activities that help pupils stay active and focused.
We welcome candidates with experience in sports, youth work, coaching, or previous roles in education. Your ability to adapt and build rapport with pupils will be essential to your success in this adhoc position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
