Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Solar Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialise in the installation of solar panel mounting systems, working closely with other roofing and solar professionals to ensure high-quality installations that meet industry accreditations, health and safety regulations, and customer expectations. This role does not include electrical work but requires extensive experience with roofing and structural components.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Structural Work
* Install solar panel mounting systems on various roof types, including pitched and flat roofs.
* Assess roof conditions and prepare surfaces for solar panel installation.
* Perform waterproofing and sealing to protect the integrity of the roof.
* Ensure structural integrity by securely fixing mounting systems to withstand environmental conditions.
* Work collaboratively with electricians and other solar installation team members to ensure a smooth installation process.
