The Role
They are looking for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their London Building Services team. You'll work on a diverse range of projects, with approximately 70% focused on the custodial sector (HM Prisons), alongside commercial and public sector developments.
The custodial sector offers varied and technically interesting work, incorporating healthcare, accommodation, fitness and high-security environments, all with a strong emphasis on sustainability. You'll gain exposure to innovative schemes, including fully electric and net-zero developments. This year the business delivered the UK's first all electric prison which is an amazing feat for the sector and the business.
You'll be supported by senior engineers while developing your technical skills, project exposure and client confidence.
What They're Looking For:
Around 3-5 years' Building Services electrical design experience
Consultancy or contractor background considered
Solid technical grounding across electrical building services design
Keen to develop client-facing and project coordination skills
Interest in sustainable and low-carbon design
