We are seeking a creative and motivated Teacher of Design & Technology (Graphics and Materials) to join a dynamic and well-resourced department at a secondary school in Northampton
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about practical learning, creativity, and inspiring students to design, make, and evaluate high-quality outcomes.
The Role
* Teach Design & Technology with a focus on Graphics and Materials at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
* Support students through the full design process: research, design, manufacture, and evaluation
* Maintain a safe, well-organised workshop environment
* Contribute to the continued development of the DT curriculum
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
* Strong subject knowledge in Graphics, Resistant Materials, or related DT specialisms
* Ability to inspire creativity and independent thinking
* Confident classroom and workshop management skills
* ECTs and experienced teachers are both welcome to apply
