Job Title: PE Tutor - Secondary & GCSE Support Location: Islington, London Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours. With flexible hours available, you can choose to run sessions in the mornings, afternoons, or evening to suit your schedule. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging PE sessions tailored to the needs of secondary and GCSE-level students. Help learners improve theoretical understanding of PE, including anatomy, physiology, fitness, and health. Support practical skills development while encouraging motivation, confidence, and teamwork. Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs, including students with SEN. Track and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents/carers. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience in Physical Education. Strong knowledge of GCSE PE curriculum and practical sport/fitness development. Right to work in the UK. Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check. Desired: QTS or relevant teaching/coaching qualification in PE/Sport Science. Experience preparing students for GCSE PE exams (theory and practical).
