What you'll do
The Financial Crime Compliance Manager will support the Senior Compliance and Financial Crime Advice Manager in delivering a robust financial crime framework across Vodafone Three products and channels, ensuring regulatory obligations are met, with a focus on sanctions and trade controls. You will:
* Design and implement operational models for managing financial crime risk and compliance, including policy and governance lifecycle management across Vodafone UK.
* Maintain constructive dialogue with regulators and ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
* Collaborate across the business to find compliant solutions to financial crime regulatory and policy issues.
* Ensure governance and reporting are effective, including KPIs/KRIs, MLRO reports, and escalation of issues to the Risk & Compliance Committee.
* Handle regulatory reporting obligations, including suspicious activity reports, breach reports, and FCA REP-CRIM reporting.
* Develop and deliver training on financial crime topics in collaboration with HR.
* Oversee strategic action plans to address compliance gaps and improve following audits or monitoring.
* Engage with senior stakeholders, providing advice on sensitive financial crime compliance matters and preparing briefings for government interactions.
Requirements include experience in a similar role within Telecoms or Financial Services, at Manager level, with expertise in sanctions, AML, and ABC advisory, and knowledge of relevant systems and technology. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and regulatory experience are essential. Financial Crime qualifications are desirable, and SC clearance eligibility is required.
Working Hours & Environment
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours/week) with hybrid working (2-3 days in the office, at least 8 days/month). We value collaboration and flexibility to support your success.
