POST: SEN Teacher LOCATION: West Bromwich Collegiate Academy SALARY: TMS/UPS HOURS: 3 day (0.6 FTE) REQUIRED FOR: September 2025 – A later date will be considered for the correct candidate. West Bromwich Collegiate Academy is an oversubscribed Secondary School in the Black Country. The Academy opened its doors in September 2019 with 175 students and has continued to grow each year. It is now at full capacity with 805 students on roll. Key Responsibilities: Work with teaching assistants, the SENCO, learning mentors as appropriate Support Intervention managers in creating and reviewing Learning plans for SEN students. Support and upskill teachers in adaptive teaching methods To deliver the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness from Asdan or a similar life skills program. To teach small groups of SEN children with complex needs specifically focusing on EHCP outcomes Candidates should be able to demonstrate: The successful candidate will: Have experience teaching across the key stages.
