Job Title: Science Technician
Are you an enthusiastic and resourceful Science Technician looking for a new challenge? Do you have the practical skills and personality required to motivate and energise Science pupils and staff? Are you passionate about the Science Curriculum and helping pupils to achieve their full potential?
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, highly organised, and experienced Science technician to join our friendly and supportive Science Department. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring pupils through their passion for Science, driving practical teaching and learning, and demonstrating a strong desire to make a difference to pupil achievement. As Washwood Heath Academy is an All Through Academy, there is potential to support practical curriculum in Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, and collaborate with colleagues in the Primary phase to develop pupils' practical skills from Key Stages 1 and 2.
About Washwood Heath Academy
Washwood Heath Academy is a relatively new All Through Academy (Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form) located in East Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Science team and contribute to a faculty committed to providing a first-class education for all learners. We deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum where Science teachers and technicians are the experts, conveying their knowledge and expertise to pupils. Candidate Requirements
This post is suitable for any Scientist holding a minimum of a UK Level 3 Science Qualification (or equivalent) seeking a new challenge.
