Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
* Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
* Support chefs with cooking tasks as directed, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness during service
* Maintain high standards of hygiene by washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils promptly and thoroughly
* Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe in compliance with health and safety regulations
* Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
* Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment to uphold hygiene standards required by health authorities
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene practices is beneficial
* Experience serving customers or working within a hospitality setting can be an asset but is not essential
