This role will focus on developing the Woodland Shop and extending the retail opportunities across all North Northamptonshire Council managed country parks. The role will entail serving Woodland Shop customers, checking stock levels, ordering and rotating stock. Complying with cash handling and safety regulations.This will include maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and contractors.You will work closely with the Parks Commercial Development Officer and wider country park teams to provide a high quality retail offering that compliments other services within the country parks. This is a dynamic and varied role where you will provide advice on produce, goods and plants. Excellent customer service skills To be presentable, reliable and flexible Capacity to undertake physical aspects of the role including manual handling, standing for long periods of time and fine dexterity skills.
