Salary
£54,952 - £64,738 depending on experience + a range of benefits to support finances, wellbeing and family.

The role
As a Technical Services Project Manager, you will join a specialist team supporting the delivery, maintenance, refurbishment and commissioning of Protection, Control and SCADA systems across SSEN Distribution's network.
Within the SCADA team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of SCADA and Operational Technology projects. You will lead project teams, develop project plans and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality throughout the ED2 price control period and beyond.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to enable successful delivery of strategic projects and ensure operational efficiency.
* Liaise with senior stakeholders to establish project obligations.
* Ensure projects are successfully delivered whilst meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Monitor, control and communicate project progress as agreed with senior stakeholders and manage project budgets, track costs and control financial risks.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, including suppliers and contractors, and attend site meetings as required.
* Manage project documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting.
* Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven track record of successful project management, preferably with qualifications such as APM, PMQ or equivalent.
* Experience with implementation of Control & SCADA systems utilising DNP3 and/or experience with the installation of Operational Technology systems would be beneficial.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate project delivery teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Travel and Vehicle
This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. As a requirement, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work-related travel. The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance is not part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role.

A valid driving licence is essential.
