Key Responsibilities Develop and implement bespoke, multi-sensory curriculum for learners with PMLD of varying ages and abilities. Plan learning opportunities across communication, cognition, physical development, sensory exploration, personal care, and life skills. Collaborate with Support Staff, therapists (Speech & Language, Occupational, Physiotherapy), and families to shape personalised EHCP targets. Monitor progress through detailed observational assessment and reflective Practice Learning Plans. Foster independence, self-expression, and positive emotional engagement in safe and supportive environments. Integrate therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC devices, sensory rooms, rebound/hydrotherapy (as available). Person Specification & Qualifications You'll be a brilliant fit if you: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience designing and delivering PMLD or severe learning difficulties curriculum (or equivalent SEND practice). Are skilled in person-centred planning, multi-sensory differentiation, and personalised learning. Can forge strong partnerships with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
