West Bank, Widnes | £12.71 per hour (increasing after probation) | Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm | Temp to Perm
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Goods Out / Production Operative to join a food manufacturing business specialising in dry cured and tank cured bacon and gammon. Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with full training and long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities
During Training (approx. 12 weeks):
* Operate production machinery.
* Pack and label products.
* Follow strict food hygiene regulations.
* Work as part of a team to meet dispatch deadlines.
* Carry out clean-down and hygiene duties.
* Perform quality checks on products.
After Training:
* Load delivery vehicles.
* Complete dispatch documentation.
* Store stock safely and efficiently.
* Move raw materials into production areas.
* Continue quality checks and hygiene duties.
Requirements
* Manual handling experience.
* Good understanding of health and safety practices.
* Strong communication skills.
* Hands-on, proactive approach.
* Previous production experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
* Food hygiene awareness.
* RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence (refreshed within the last 3 years).
* Previous FLT experience.
