You will play a key role in ensuring our advice process runs smoothly, from preparing documentation and reports through to supporting client relationships and maintaining accurate records. If you are organised, proactive and committed to delivering a professional, client-focused service, we would like to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Financial Planning Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the Financial Services team, ensuring all compliance work is delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with Financial Conduct Authority requirements. Working closely with our Independent Financial Advisers, you will prepare client review documentation and reports, manage new business submissions, arrange client meetings and maintain accurate records on Xplan, helping to deliver a seamless and trusted service to our clients.
You will liaise with clients, providers and colleagues, ensuring all communication is handled professionally and in a timely manner, while supporting general administration across the department. Alongside this, you will contribute to improving processes and efficiencies within the team, supporting ongoing development and innovation.
This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone with experience in a Financial Planning Assistant or similar position within an Independent Financial Adviser or Wealth Management firm. You will be highly organised, with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A good understanding of the financial advice process and confidence in preparing compliant documentation are essential, along with experience using systems such as Xplan and Microsoft Office.
