Job Advert Job Title: Production Operative Salary: To £29,097 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, with weekend coverage required on a 1 in 4 rotation Location: Bridgnorth The role: * Responsible for operating and maintaining booster sites, pumping stations, water treatment facilities, and tanks both indoors and outdoors. * Maintaining good housekeeping standards such tasks as tank cleaning, receiving chemical deliveries, and inspection of booster sites Travel to other booster sites and ensure they are operating correctly. * Personal responsibility for the care and maintenance of assigned equipment. * General grounds maintenance and landscaping. * Operating our sludge works, a critical part of our treatment process. * Communicating with internal and external stakeholders including members of the public and customers. * You will be part of a small team working in a rotating weekend working pattern including some bank holidays. What you’ll need * A valid UK driving licence for travel throughout the West Midlands region. * A strong work ethic and commitment to the role are highly valued. * Effective organisational skills are essential to manage equipment and time efficiently. * A desire to learn and a driven attitude towards work. * Desirable skills include grounds maintenance experience, mechanical fitter and hands-on experience "on the tools." * Basic IT proficiency is also required. Essential training will be provided which will help you gain the confidence within the operational area.
