Production Planner Gravesend
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Production Planner, fully office-based at our European Head Office in Gravesend, Kent. This is a full-time, permanent position (Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 17:30).

The Production Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling manufacturing activities for lubricants and chemicals to optimize performance and minimize delays.
Responsibilities include:
* Creating and managing weekly production schedules
* Collaborating with S&OP specialists to ensure raw material availability
* Raising and processing work orders
* Developing and monitoring the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
* Ensuring high OEE and adherence to plans through lean practices
* Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules as needed
* Leading weekly planning meetings
* Coordinating with supply chain and procurement teams
* Generating 4-week capacity plans as part of the S&OP cycle
* Supporting manufacturing teams and optimizing weekly schedules
* Communicating daily with internal departments
* Maintaining high customer service levels (OTIF)
* Leading root cause analysis for the Gravesend factory
* Managing inventory levels within set limits
* Utilizing planning tools like Excel, Power BI, and SAP for data analysis and automation
* Participating in continuous improvement projects
* Supporting daily team activities
Requirements:
* Experience in production planning and manufacturing processes
* Familiarity with capacity planning and scheduling tools
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Advanced Excel skills
* Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as SAP
* Experience in the lubricant or manufacturing industry is advantageous
* Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Proactive, self-starting attitude with ownership and initiative
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders
* Knowledge of suppliers and products in the lubricant industry
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, DAX, SQL
* Proficiency in French, Portuguese, or Spanish
