Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory and Python.
* Manage the ingestion of raw data from multiple sources including CAFM, Finance Systems, Salesforce, IoT and HR systems into the Data Lakehouse.
* Implement automated SQL and Python processes to identify, monitor and resolve data quality issues at source.
* Maintain Data Governance standards including data dictionaries, lineage and schematics, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
* Collaborate with Analysts, BI Developers, Information Systems and architecture teams to deliver scalable, future‑proved data solutions and optimise system performance.
Qualifications
* Expert‑level SQL skills combined with strong Python experience, including data manipulation using Pandas and PySpark.
* Experience working with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Stack technologies including Azure Data Factory, Synapse and Data Lake.
* Proven experience delivering ETL/ELT projects, data modelling and implementing Data Governance controls.
* Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Data Engineering role.
* Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to explain technical issues in a business‑focused way.
