Position: Year 2 Teacher
Contract: Full‑time

Location: Barnoldswick
As our Year 2 Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well‑structured lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Support children in achieving their full potential both academically and personally
* Create a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued
* Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and track progress
* Work closely with colleagues to contribute to year‑group and whole‑school planning
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing
* Play an active role in school life and contribute to our inclusive, team‑focused culture
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Is a qualified teacher with QTS
* Has experience teaching in KS1 (Year 2 experience ideal but not essential)
* Demonstrates strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum, including SATs preparation
* Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
* Brings creativity, energy, and a child‑centred approach to the classroom
* Works well as part of a collaborative team
* Has excellent behaviour‑management and interpersonal skills
