About The Role: Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday The role will lead by example, to give excellent service delivery through the OCS approach of building strong working relationships with the client based on consistent and quality service delivery. The foundations of the client relationship will be trust, integrity, open communication and delivering on commitments. Operational Delivery for Waste, Cleaning, Periodics, Pest Control, Washroom & Associated Services. Your main responsibilities will include: Owning the P&L performance and monthly results, ensuring profitable operational delivery in line with the agreed budgets through driving efficiencies, cost control and innovation. Pushing the boundaries of service excellence through the development and improvement of our services. You will oversee all the strategic and account development plans for all contracts within your area. Attracting and retaining the best talent. The Account Director will be responsible for ensuring there is a robust succession and development plan process in place across the business unit. Producing monthly reports, both internally and externally as required To work in collaboration with the sales and commercial team to drive new business development opportunities and deliver new profitable contracts and share best practice. The Business Director must also grow existing contracts into new service delivery opportunities for both the sector and the wider OCS business. This key position will be actively involved in supporting the development of the business unit strategy. You will demonstrate a commercial and strategic awareness and focus, have a structured approach, intelligence, enthusiasm and an open, collaborative style. You should meet the following criteria: Hold appropriate Health and Safety qualification e.g.IOSH or NEBOSH Certification Member of relevant professional bodies – desirable. IT literate – proficiency in all MS Office software is essential. Knowledge of other soft services and experience in delivery is preferred, especially in the areas of high-end Front of House service and specialist/periodic cleaning activities. Minimum of 5 years’ management experience of complex building and business support services in the FM industry Evidence of “hands-on” operational experience and a track record of successful client relationships Must be self-motivated and outcomes focused with effective inter – personal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and delegate effectively to direct reports. Ability to mentor and develop subordinates, counselling and coaching as necessary. Excellent P&L management.
