Job Description:
Our team welcomes you to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year.
The Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis and race operations. We are looking for individuals with an athlete's mindset—those for whom giving up isn’t an option and limits are just challenges to overcome—to join us and make motorsport history.
The position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany. In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) division, you will work as part of the department management team on developing and testing key components that enhance power unit performance for racing and contribute to our competitiveness.
This position is available starting January 1, 2026.
Your Mission
* Supporting the ERS department head as an interface between development departments and workshops
* Assisting in planning, coordinating, and implementing ERS development projects
* Supporting budget planning for ERS projects
* Planning cross-departmental testing and deployment of ERS components
* Coordinating assembly planning with responsible teams
* Optimizing development processes and methods
* Analyzing technical data and preparing progress reports
* Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
Your Profile
* Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar field
* Experience in motorsport or electric drive system development in project management or coordination
* Development experience with electric drive systems for motorsport or similar environments
* Strong organizational skills and team spirit
* Analytical thinking and structured work approach
* Passion for motorsport and innovative technologies, with high commitment
* Proficiency in German or English, with willingness to learn the other language
