We are looking for a Transport Administrator to join our dayshift team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of vehicles on-site using our transport management system.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Book vehicles in and out of the site safety and efficiently following the transport management system and conformance to booking targets
* Ensure sufficient EOL vehicle availability from 3rd party hauliers to cover planned loads, checking continually against planned production and advising warehouse / logistics / hauliers of any issues
* Support the loading of tankers on site for offsite production
* Process Tesco customer orders daily, and liase with the logistics team to ensure all orders can be fulfilled
* Update and issue End of Line report - highlighting any issues
Requirements
You must have experience in an administrative role within a transport or logistics environment. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
You must also be comfortable with Microsoft Office applications and experience with transport management systems is preferred.
The role will be working 6.30 am - 6.45pm on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The salary is £29,708.08 per annum plus additional benefits as detailed.
Please note, due to our location and public transport service available around our shift times, you must be able to drive and have access to a car.
