Quantity Surveyor Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: Office-based - North East or North Yorkshire Contract: Permanent, Full-Time The Role We are recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial delivery of construction and/or civil engineering projects on behalf of external clients. Reporting into the Commercial Director, this role offers the opportunity to work on technically varied and commercially challenging schemes, managing projects from early stages through to completion. The position suits a Quantity Surveyor who is confident operating independently while contributing to a wider commercial team. Key Responsibilities Commercial management of multiple construction and/or civils projects from inception to final account Acting as the commercial lead on allocated projects Cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Managing valuations, variations, and change control Supporting procurement and subcontractor commercial management Working closely with project teams, clients, and consultants Ensuring commercial processes and best practice are followed throughout delivery About You You will be an organised and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor, comfortable working across multiple project teams and disciplines. You'll be experienced in managing several projects simultaneously and confident making sound commercial decisions.
