Breakfast Supervisor Job Description
As a Breakfast Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our breakfast service. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the front of house team during breakfast hours, ensuring high service standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front of house staff
• Ensure that all tables are set up and ready for service in accordance with the table plan
• Open tables on EPOS and record any allergies or special requests
• Process food orders and payments efficiently and accurately
• Take drinks orders and process them on EPOS
• Manage guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
• Prepare tea and coffee to guests' requirements
• Serve dishes confidently and explain the kitchen's preparation methods
• Clear tables elegantly and communicate with the management team and kitchen staff as needed
• Report and act upon guest feedback within designated procedures and time allocation
• Maintain a safe working environment for guests and colleagues alike
• Represent the restaurant in a positive manner at all times and lead by example
• Communicate clearly with guests to manage their expectations and avoid misleading them
• Build and maintain relationships with guests, team members, and fellow and/or senior management
• Utilize hospitality skills to provide exceptional guest services and instill these skills in the wider team
• Set a good example for the Waiters and have a good understanding of food hygiene practices
• Contribute to guest profiles for returning guests and handle shift handovers effectively
