Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:
* Deliver dynamic and engaging Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, tailored to a range of abilities
* Inspire students to develop a love for science and practical experimentation
* Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, and assessment, ensuring lessons meet curriculum standards
* Contribute to the development of schemes of work and share best practice within a collaborative Science department
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and high expectations
* Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused learning atmosphere
* Support students’ academic progress and personal growth, including preparation for GCSE examinations

What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Chemistry within a UK school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the wider school community
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
