<div><p>Our client has an opportunity for an Internal Communications Specialist to join them on a contract basis for 6 months with possible extension. The role will provide critical interim support to the Communications team in establishing the sites communication infrastructure and deliverables, bringing local operational needs into alignment with the broader UK and global communication approach.</p><h3>Role</h3><p>Internal Communications Specialist</p><h3>Location</h3><p>Belfast - fully onsite</p><h3>Hours</h3><p>36 per week</p><h3>Hourly Rate</h3><p>34.98 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35</p><h3>Clearance</h3><p>BPSS required before start</p><h3>What youll be doing:</h3><ul><li>Local Delivery: Supports the building out of Belfast’s internal and external communications setup, ensuring local site needs align with UK and global frameworks.</li><li>Managerial Support: Assists in defining core messaging and drives the delivery of localised communications materials.</li><li>Channel Deployment: Facilitates the rollout of interim and longer‑term internal communication tools and channels.</li><li>External Consistency: Co‑ordinates with the wider UK/global communications and public affairs teams to ensure unified messaging for external audiences.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><p>The role will support the delivery of post‑merger integration (PMI) communications; experience in a PMI or transformation and change environment will be highly beneficial and the ability to be proactive in creating and shaping local communications activities in line with a wider corporate framework is required.</p><p>This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity — the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.</p><h3>Personal qualities and competencies</h3><ul><li>Established experience in communications (internal, external, community relations)</li><li>Experience of M&A comms environment, transformation and change</li><li>Good understanding of how to communicate to a manufacturing / indirect audience</li><li>Good understanding of Northern Ireland as an operating environment</li><li>Comms plan definition and execution</li><li>Strategic thinking while able to act and implement quickly</li><li>Ability to connect easily to different stakeholders across functions and divisions</li><li>Excellent writing skills and content creation skills</li><li>Event management capability</li><li>Understanding of internal communications channels and ability to effectively engage with colleagues from across the business</li></ul><p>If you are interested in applying for this position and you meet the requirements, please apply!</p></div>
