1:1 Tutors & Learning Mentors Required – Northampton Are you passionate about helping young people succeed? TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is looking for committed and enthusiastic Tutors and Learning Mentors to support pupils across Northampton and the surrounding areas . This role offers the opportunity to work with children and young people who require additional educational support outside of a mainstream classroom setting. Sessions are delivered on a one-to-one basis in pupils' homes, schools, or alternative provisions during school hours. About the Role You will provide tailored academic support and mentoring to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, improve confidence, and achieve their individual goals. Responsibilities include: Delivering personalised tuition sessions in core or specialist subjects. Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, medical needs, or those at risk of exclusion. Building positive and trusting relationships with learners. Encouraging engagement, motivation, and independence. Monitoring progress and providing feedback following sessions. Working collaboratively with schools, families, and local authorities. What We're Looking For Experience working with children or young people in an educational, mentoring, coaching, or support role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence adapting learning to meet individual needs. A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach. Location & Hours Northampton and surrounding areas Sessions are typically delivered during school hours, Monday to Friday, during term time.
