As part of the UK’s leading specialist recruiter in the transport and logistics sector, you will play a crucial role in driving growth—both by securing new clients and supporting our long-standing customer base.
What You’ll Be Doing
Business Development & Client Growth
Proactively identifying and converting new B2B opportunities within the transport and logistics industry
Generating a strong sales pipeline through structured outbound activity, networking, and market research
Conducting targeted telephone sales, virtual meetings, and face-to-face client visits to understand business needs and present Driver Hire solutions
Account Management
Managing and strengthening relationships with our established client portfolio
Understanding each customer’s operational challenges and identifying where Driver Hire can add value
Gathering client requirements and seamlessly handing them over to our experienced recruitment team
Commercial Focus
Negotiating commercial terms, rates, and service agreements
Achieving revenue targets and contributing to branch performance
Spotting opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term account growth
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who brings professionalism, energy, and commercial insight—someone who delivers results because they understand how to create them.
You should have:
Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in a service-led or consultative sales environment
Knowledge or experience within transport & logistics (highly desirable)
Confidence in both proactive telephone activity and in-person meetings
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
A driven, target-focused mindset and a passion for delivering results
Full Uk licence
