Major Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Bid Response Manager for our prestigious client based in Normanton.
The Bid Response Manager is responsible for managing the bid writing team to ensure all tender opportunities are reviewed and allocated promptly. The role involves working closely with the Sales Teams to prepare compelling written and qualitative proposals.
Role Responsibilities:

1. Review and quality assess non-commercial responses to all bids valued over £100k per annum before they are issued to Sales for input.
2. Mentor and support the Bids & Tender Executives.
3. Project manage and oversee the Bid Library content, ensuring documents are allocated within the team and updated timely.
4. Monitor potential tendering opportunities using market and prospect intelligence and tender tracking databases.
5. Maintain and update the bid response library of supporting and source documents.
6. Assess, provide a synopsis, and contribute to storyboard meetings for each tender assigned.
7. Manage each tender opportunity, engaging relevant departments such as Pricing, Contracts Administration, Implementation, Operations, IT, and Finance to gather input and ensure timely submission.
8. Write compelling business responses for each project.
9. Take ownership of the progress and submission of responses, ensuring they are delivered on time to the sales owner or tendering organization.
10. Obtain legal reviews of contract terms and communicate outcomes to the sales team/management.
11. Conduct pre- and post-tender briefings with clients as required.
12. Review, analyze, and report on feedback received for all bids.
13. Provide advice, support, and backup to the sales team as needed.
