Consultant Ophthalmologist NHS Lanarkshire - University Hospital Hairmyres The opportunity has arisen to recruit an ophthalmology consultant to NHS Lanarkshire. Applicants with any subspecialty interest that complements the current consultant body are invited to apply. The successful candidate will be part of the consultant team based at University Hospital Hairmyres, providing ophthalmic care to the whole of NHS Lanarkshire. The post presents an exciting opportunity to the successful applicant to have a significant influence in the redesign of the service’, pathways and clinical models, building on our close links with community optometry, developing the skills of our enthusiastic teams of ANPs and AHPs and working closely with the site management team to develop sustainable service delivery models for the future. The job is offered as a full-time post on a 10 PA basis with breakdown being 8 Direct Clinical Care and 2 Supporting Professional Activity, subject to confirmation and approval of the final job plan.
