Personal Assistant
Job Purpose and work duties
Personal Assistant is required to assist with various activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.
Work Duties:
Prompting and physical help with personal care
Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
Outdoor walking/exercise
Assisting with leisure activities
Supporting with:
• · Mobility, ensuring the employers safety
• · Personal care
• · Undertaking activities for employer
• · Ensuring employers home is clean, hygienic, and safe
Other requirements:
• · Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• · Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
• · Establish and maintain effective communication
• · Maintaining confidentiality
Location:
• · Within the employer’s home
Hours and rate of pay:
* 10 hours a week to start, days and times to be arranged
* £12.21 per hour

• Experience of Dementia essential

• · Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer
• · Ability to undertake domestic activities

• · Good general fitness
• · An enhanced DBS check will be required
