A leading UK energy company is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Domestic Energy Consultant to join their team based in Lutterworth. This role offers a competitive salary of GBP26,000 to GBP29,000 and a flexible hybrid working model, combining office and remote work to support a balanced lifestyle.
Role Overview:
The Domestic Energy Consultant will play a key role in delivering expert energy assessments and advice to domestic customers across the region. The successful candidate will conduct thorough evaluations of properties to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements, helping homeowners reduce energy consumption and lower their bills. They will provide tailored recommendations, prepare detailed reports, and guide customers through available government schemes and grants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out comprehensive energy assessments in domestic properties, both on:site and remotely
* Advise customers on energy:saving measures, renewable technologies, and relevant financial support schemes
* Generate accurate and clear energy reports in line with industry standards and company policies
* Maintain up:to:date knowledge of energy efficiency regulations, technologies, and market trends
* Build positive relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service and ongoing support
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and meet business targets
Candidate Profile:
* Hold a current Energy Assessor accreditation (e.g., Domestic Energy Assessor, SAP assessor, or equivalent)
* Proven experience or strong interest in energy consultancy, sustainability, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a flexible workload independently
* Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment
* Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, with attendance at the Lutterworth office as required
