We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician. You will beresponsible for updating service and repair records, maintaining machinery and running diagnostictests on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Role Summary: Developing and implementing electrical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns. Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental policies. Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs. Using root cause analysis to eliminate faults/breakdowns. Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies. Developing and using SOPs to carry out training for co-workers on the safe and efficient use of electrical machinery and equipment. Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations. Installing new equipment and upgrading existing equipment to meet production demands Essential Experience: HNC in Electrical Engineering Time served with a minimum of two years experience as an electrical technician in a related Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Be able to work own initiative and be able to liaise with other functions and departments at alllevels within the Company Behaves in a professional manner Good communicator who is open and honest Focused on continuous improvement with a safety mindset Excellent communication, IT and Collaboration skills. Willingness to perform electrical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours. Experience working with various voltages, AC and DC.
