Are you enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to multitask and solve problems? If so, we have a great opportunity for you as a Divisional Scheduler.
This is a permanent role within our northern scheduling team based out of the Trowbridge office.
This will be a perfect opportunity to expand your skills, learn about a new area of the business, and turn your hand to something new.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be:
* Responsible for providing scheduling for Wessex Water operational teams across multiple workstreams.
* Maximising the efficient use of operational staff's time by creating schedules that reduce mileage and fuel expenditure.
* Liaising with Wessex Water operational staff across multiple disciplines to help reduce overdue work.
* Raising work requests to be carried out and prioritised, as well as scheduling planned maintenance.
* Providing regular updates to our customers to ensure our performance commitments are met.
The role will require engagement with multiple IT systems, including Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Dynamics 365, Teams) and internal software.
This role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Due to the reactive nature of the work, some flexibility with working hours may be required.
Our core hour scheduling team operates between 7 am and 5 pm; however, out-of-hours cover is also provided, and overtime opportunities may be available.
What you'll need
We are looking for a team player with multitasking skills and the ability to resolve issues effectively. Wessex Water values excellent customer service, so strong communication skills are essential, along with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
We operate within strict Service Level Agreements, so following procedures and attention to detail are crucial.
An understanding of Wessex Water's operational business is advantageous, but if you have the aptitude and approach to solve problems under pressure, we will provide all necessary training to adapt your skills to the role.
What you'll receive
* A combined pension contribution of up to 20%.
