Training and Compliance Officer Belfast office location £30,000 – £34,000 per annum 6–9% performance bonus Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 37 per week • Mon–Thu: 8:30am–5:00pm (one late night to 7pm) • Fri: 8:30am–4:30pm Apple Recruitment is working with a leading Northern Ireland organisation to recruit a Training and Compliance Officer for their in-house Customer Services function. This role is ideal for an experienced training, L&D, or compliance professional who enjoys combining hands-on training delivery with regulatory compliance, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration. You will play a key role in maintaining regulatory standards, developing people, and supporting operational and emergency readiness within an internal customer service environment. The Role Assess training and compliance needs across the in-house Customer Services function. Design, develop, and deliver engaging training aligned with regulatory and service standards. Create, review, and maintain training materials, procedures, and competency frameworks. Deliver training on key operational processes including call handling, planning, and emergency response. Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation. Translate regulatory and operational requirements into clear, practical guidance for teams. Support the development of procedures, escalation protocols, and service recovery frameworks. Contribute to major incident readiness and business continuity planning. Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators, and external training providers. Produce reports and insights on training delivery, compliance, and staff development. Promote a culture of continuous learning, compliance awareness, and inclusive service delivery. Provide cross-cover and support to Customer Services leadership as required. About You You will have: • At least 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including English and Maths. • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in training delivery, learning & development, compliance, or instructional design. • Experience developing training materials, procedures, and learning programmes. • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills. • The ability to clearly explain complex processes and regulatory requirements. • Excellent organisational, written, and record-keeping skills. • A strong understanding of adult learning principles.
