Overview
Business Administration Manager role at Rivers Hospital Sawbridgeworth, part of Ramsay Health Care UK. Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

What You’ll Do
* Manage a team of 6, including performance development plans and 1-2-1 meetings.
* Oversee the billing team and ensure all accounts are invoiced to the relevant third party in a timely and accurate manner.
* Ensure debt is collected within 30 days of invoice and actively manage debts outstanding beyond this date; provide SMT with action plans on request.
* Implement actions to increase revenue capture within the unit and work with other departments to ensure compliance.
* Ensure data collection requirements are met for coding, billing and cash collection purposes.
* Manage the system administration of the hospital EPR system and verify all local amendments.
* Ensure accurate and timely submission of all invoices to third parties via EDI or physical copies.
* Work within Ramsay delegated levels of authority at all times.
* Ensure all payments to third parties (including consultant payments and patient account refunds) are made by agreed deadlines.
* Assist other users in the unit with compliance with Ramsay administrative policies and best practices.
* Prepare the monthly NHS activity reconciliation and review data quality queries and NHS challenges.
* Liaise with Hospital Directors and other key stakeholders to resolve business process and revenue issues.
What You’ll Bring
* Management experience and/or demonstrated ability to manage a team.
* Previous experience within a finance/accountancy position.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team and independently as required.
* Sound written and verbal communication skills.
* Planning and organisational skills; commercial and financial awareness.
* Good computer skills; flexibility to meet changing business needs.
* Demonstrated customer service skills.
* Previous health sector experience (Desirable).
* Advantage of prior knowledge of SAP, Maxims (EPR).
