This is an exciting opportunity to work in School of Law and Justice Studies. We are looking for an experienced researcher to assist the school with applied research opportunities with Criminal Justice Partners. You will need to relish problem solving and working with partners, such as the Ministry of Justice, the Police Service and other government departments. It is likely that some of the work will be sensitive, therefore it will be advantageous if you hold some level of government vetting or are prepared to gain it once in the job.
A particular interest in the areas of serious and organised crime including fraud, cybercrime, and human trafficking would be helpful. The job will demand initiative, good collaborative skills and the ability to write both reports and ultimately assist in writing publishable journal articles.
