Responsibilities:
As QMS Manager – Performance Data, you will be responsible for the quality of our performance data across all sports.
You will be the own the management, provision of insights, processes, and accountability of our performance data quality. You will manage the QMS Leads across the different sports, ensuring standardisation in the quality processes, accountability, and communication.
You will work closely with the hubs, support teams, data experts and reporting teams to ensure our performance data quality is both on target and shared across the company.
Your role will include:
5. Managing a Global QMS team across multiple sports. Providing clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills.
6. To devise and execute plans to achieve all quality targets, through daily excellence and improvement of existing operational processes.
7. Innovating new ideas for better and more efficient ways of collecting data.
8. Motivating operational teams to achieve productivity and engagement.
9. Implement efficient processes and hold operations accountable for keeping a high standard by setting annual KPI targets.
10. Regular reporting back to all levels of the business on performance results with a view to continually improve the quality of our data.
11. Ensuring the QMS teams are gathering and recording all data quality scores and metrics.
12. Working with Digital Operations Team to ensure the quality data is pooled and accessible for historic and future use.
13. Being data driven - we must have an approach where the feedback that we independently gather is presented back in a way that the data tells the story, we just add the contextual information.
14. Ensuring QMS works closely with the training team to add updated approaches and ideas to the existing training plans, but also to enhance existing materials.
15. Evaluating risk of major changes to the business and ensure senior management teams are aware of problems that could arise.
16. Ensuring that all areas across performance and tracking data have a consideration about how we measure the quality of those data sets, identifying gaps, ensuring that those are addressed based on the importance of the data set to the business.
17. Using our Quality Assurance checks to monitor performance, identify problem areas and develop action plans to improve.
Required Qualifications:
18. Proven experience as a manager of a large operational team
19. Knowledge of data analytics and reporting
20. Strong Ability to hold data driven presentations about the data we are using to evaluate our staff performance.
21. Experience with using IT systems such as Service Now, Jira, Atlassian and Confluence, including writing tickets for developers.
22. Ability to deliver positive and negative feedback to operational teams whilst providing clear context on the reasons for such feedback.
23. Ability to delegate responsibility of tasks across this team and let each of the sport specialists own their areas.
24. Good technical knowledge of the systems we use to collect data across Stats Perform
25. Excellent communication skills
26. Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude
27. Familiarity with core business functions such as IT, HR, Product and Client facing teams.
28. Good knowledge and clear understanding of the product channels
29. Proficient with Office 365
