What You’ll Be Doing
As an Installation & Commissioning Engineer you will:
* Carry out high‑quality installations of intruder alarm systems, CCTV, and access control systems in line with project specifications.
* Liaise with customers, project managers and the wider ASEL team to ensure exceptional service and project outcomes.
* Provide on‑site mentoring and leadership for trainee engineers.
* Handle technical queries and communicate any site deviations or challenges effectively.
* Complete all relevant documentation promptly after installation.
* Support the implementation of ASEL’s industry‑leading information security policies and practices.
Experience
* Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in security system installation (intruder, CCTV, access control).
* Working knowledge of IP‑based systems and Galaxy Panels/Max Readers.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* PC literate with good reporting and documentation practices.
* Strong team player and mentor, with the ability to lead and develop junior engineers.
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and upholding our standards of excellence.
Desirable
* NVQ Level 2 in Electronic Security Systems or equivalent.
* Experience working in a dynamic, customer‑focused field environment.
* Exposure to networked and integrated security solutions.
