Principal Commercial Officer – Aerospace & UAS | Salisbury | £65k + Bonus

What You’ll Do


* Develop Innovative Commercial Solutions: Identify and implement creative commercial strategies, especially in technology and agile environments, to create attractive proposals that deliver strong returns.
* Early Commercial Involvement: Ensure commercial considerations are integrated from the initial stages of all projects.
* Bid and Proposal Management: Lead the preparation of commercial bids and proposals, including terms and conditions, by working closely with various departments like Business Development, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Project Management to optimize solutions.
* Stakeholder Relationship Management: Foster strong collaborative relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Negotiation and Influence: Negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders on contracts, payment terms, and intellectual property rights (IPR).


What You Need

* Proven negotiator with a track record of delivering tailored commercial solutions.
* Deep understanding of commercial processes in early product development and business-winning phases (bids, proposals, negotiations, agreements).
* Experience managing contracts through their full lifecycle, including change control.
* Advantageous: International experience and/or background in aerospace or defence.

What You Need

* British citizenship or existing right to work in the UK
