Job title: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Salary: £53,500 per annum
Shift pattern: Nights, 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am
Location: Glasgow
Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with a passion for working in fast-paced food manufacturing environments? We have a fantastic opportunity to join a busy production site in Glasgow, supporting a wide range of production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery, following planned preventative maintenance schedules.
* Carry out fault finding and practical problem-solving to minimise downtime, targeting less than 2% production loss.
* Use the company’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log maintenance activity and materials.
* Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, and quality standards at all times.
* Support continuous improvement and productivity projects on site.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop and across work areas.
* Assist in training production operators in basic asset care practices.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Multi-Skilled Engineer, preferably apprentice trained.
* Previous experience working in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
* Computer literate and comfortable using CMMS systems.
* Experience with Lean or continuous improvement environments is a plus.
* Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality maintenance.
