About the area The Office of Education Innovation and Enterprise is responsible for strategic leadership and leading the development of innovations in partnerships with third party organisations and industry, and advances UWA’s short course and micro-credentials within the UWA Lifelong Learning and Continuing Education framework. The Office of Education Innovation and Enterprise also consolidates multiple initiatives with respect to experiential learning at curricula and co-curricular levels to develop an overall strategy for employability, and broader forms of career development initiatives through establishing and maintaining solid partnerships and engagement with Industry to stay abreast of skill requirements and resourcing needs. About the opportunity You will contribute and influence the comprehensive direction of the Employability and Experiential Learning portfolio through analysis of employment, career development, experiential learning and student life-cycle data providing solution-focused options for senior decision-makers. Engaging with Executive, Senior Leaders and other stakeholders, you will independently advise, influence and problem solve complex matters based on sound, evidence-based information. You will also support Employability and Experiential Learning annual planning, key performance indicator settings, reporting and the development and investment in strategic initiatives aligned to the portfolio’s strategy and frameworks. About you Relevant postgraduate qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency. Substantial experience in delivering business analysis and insights to support senior decision-makers. Proven ability to engage with, advise and influence various stakeholders in a large, complex organisation. Strong strategic thinking capability, business acumen, research and analytical skills. Extensive experience in the higher education sector is desirable. Extensive strategic planning experience is desirable. Special Requirements A current National Police Clearance Certificate.
