Infrastructure Analyst
The Infrastructure Analyst will design, implement, and maintain IT and OT infrastructure solutions to support business and manufacturing operations, ensuring resilience, security, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Deploy and maintain IT and OT infrastructure solutions for business and manufacturing operations.
* Design and implement resilient networks, server environments, and cloud-based solutions.
* Support/Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, minimizing production disruption.
* Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency and security.
* Provide 3rd-line support for complex technical issues across IT and OT systems.
* Ensure maximum uptime of critical business and manufacturing systems.
* Proactively monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot networks, servers, and security appliances.
* Maintain strong disaster recovery and backup strategies for business continuity.
* Use ServiceNow or equivalent for incident recording, updating, and management.
* Implement and maintain GxP-compliant IT infrastructure within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
* Ensure compliance with CFR Part 11 and data integrity requirements across all IT/OT systems.
* Implement cybersecurity best practices, including network segmentation, vulnerability patching, and Zero Trust principles.
Competencies
* Infrastructure & Virtualisation: strong understanding of VMware vSphere8+ / ESXi or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
* Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003‑2022, Windows Desktop 95‑11, basic Linux administration (RedHat, Ubuntu).
* Networking & Security: Cisco LAN, WAN, VLANs, routing & switching; enterprise firewall technologies (PaloAlto, Cisco ASA, Watchguard, or similar) and network segmentation and security best practices.
* Backup & Disaster Recovery: Veeam Backup&Replication, disaster recovery planning, high‑availability solutions.
* Database & Application Support: Microsoft SQL Server (2000‑2022), Oracle Database (various versions), PostgreSQL/MySQL.
* General IT Expertise: Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, SAN/NAS/Fibre Channel/iSCSI storage solutions, HPE Synergy infrastructure/Nimble Storage, patch and vulnerability management.
