This key position will be responsible for overseeing all people projects, specifically focussing on system transformations across the people function. We are looking for a senior Programme Manager, with experience implementing a number of HRIS systems, and a good understanding of HR processes. You will work with directors across the business to understand what is possible within the new systems, and how that will be achieved.
This is a permanent position, with regular travel to London and Inverness.

Required experience and qualifications:
• Large scale Project or Programme Management qualification
• Experience of HR project delivery and transformation, with a good understanding of HRIS landscapes
• Experience in managing multiple complex projects to deadlines and within budget
• Ability to work strategically and operationally
• Previous experience of budget control
• Ability to work positively with and influence at all levels of the organisation, including Board level
• Full UK driving license with ability to travel nationwide and stay away on an ad hoc basis
Role and responsibilities:
• Deliver all people projects, including improvements to existing HR systems, as well as the design, development and launch of new initiatives
• Assure delivery during each stage of the project lifecycle, including initial idea, situation assessment, options analysis, business case, design and build, test, and roll out
• Oversight of people data flow work through all HR systems and all other business systems
• Ensure that people data is of sufficient quality to be able to feed into the Active Directory
• Lead on the development of a business case for a future HRIS
• Support project managers, ensuring that the projects have the resources to deliver on agreed outcomes and benefits
• Build key relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that they are involved in building the implementation plan
• Ensure that change management is in place for all key projects, including change impact assessments and training needs analysis
• Oversee the management of supplier relationships to optimise their contribution
• Support the drive towards a culture of continuous improvement across Barchester
